Rosa Belle Bertrand was born on 8 April 1930. She died on 30 January 2011, at age 80, in Lyons Point, Acadia Parish, La. USA, Saint John the Baptist Cemetery.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 1:00 PM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Lyons Point for Rosa B. Schexnayder, 80, who passed away Monday, January 31, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Southwind Nursing Home in Crowley. Fr. Leger will be officiating the services. Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy and husband Richard Suire of Estherwood, Mary and husband Larry Vincent of Mermentru Cove and Earlene Schexnayder of Lyons Point; three sons, Chester and wife Margaret Schexnayder of Youngsville, Wilfred and wife Gloria Schexnayder of Kaplan and Edward and wife Annette Schexnayder of Lyons Point; one sister, Kot Primeaux of Crowley; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Ms. Schexnayder is preceded in death by her husband Wilbert Schexnayder; one daughter, Marlene Schexnayder; her parents, Oduse and Thersa Bertrand; four brothers and one sister. Pallbearers for the services will be Dereck Vincent, Joshua Schexnayder, Heather Schexnayder, Adam Schexnayder, Dylan Hoffpauir and Conrad Perry. The Honorary pallbearers for her services will be Todd Schexnayder and Gage Perry.

The family of Ms. Schexnayder will like to extend a very special thank you to Heart of Hospice and Southwind Nursing Home for the special care they gave her. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 1, 2011 11:00 AM till 10:00 PM then 8:00 AM till time of services on Wednesday. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 in the evening in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery in Lyons Point under the directions of Duhon Funeral Home, L.L.C. of Crowley.

Marlene Ann Schexnayder was born on 10 November 1956 in Kaplan, Vermillion Parish, Louisiana. She died on 10 November 1956, at age 0, in Kaplan, Vermillion Parish, Louisiana.

Shirley Boudreaux was born on 10 July 1930. She and Evans Joseph Schexneider were married in 1948. She died on 3 May 2002, at age 71, in Kaplan, Vermillion Parish, Louisiana, Kaplan Cemetery.

Larry Dale Schexneider was born on 31 May 1950. He died on 20 July 2020, at age 70, in Kaplan, Vermillion Parish, Louisiana, Hebert Cemetery.

Kaplan-Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Larry Dale Schexneider, 70, who died Monday, July 20, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. He will be laid to rest at Hebert Cemetery with Reverend Palthasar Arrockia Doss officiating the services.

He is survived by his two sons, Lane Schexneider and his wife, Shelly of Kaplan and Larry Schexneider, Jr. of Kaplan; his daughter, Lisa Schexneider of Kaplan; his three stepchildren, Michael Simon, Stephen Simon, and Brandy Simon all of Kaplan; his four sisters, Sally LeMaire of Kaplan, Judy Fajkus of Houston, TX, Patsy Dupuis of Kaplan, and Betty Smith of Kaplan; his brother, Billy Schexneider of Seguin, TX; his nine grandchildren; and his two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelia Schexneider; his parents, Evans Schexneider and the former Shirley Boudreaux; and his sister, Peggy Schexneider.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 10:00 AM.

Sheila Marie Begnaud was born on 10 May 1949. She died on 17 January 2009, at age 59, in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USAG, Hebert Cemetery.
