He and Marianne Edelmayer were married on 5 March 1768 in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana. He died on 4 January 1776, at age ~67, in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana.

I can't prove it yet, but here's how I think the Schexnayder's ended up in America.

Simon Hans Reinhard Segsnider, his wife Catherine, and two sons Jacob and Henry sailed from L'Orient on the La Garonne in January of 1721. Sickness broke out. The captain made port in Brest, France and put the 16 of the sickest passengers ashore. Jacob was listed as one of those put ashore. All 16 died between the 10th and 27th of Feb. 1721. Sickness broke out again on the trip over, but it was too late to turn around, so the captain continued on to the German Coast. Passengers continued to become sick and die. Some even jumped overboard. While attempting to sail into the gulf of Mexico, La Garonne ended up being taken by the pirate Black Bart near San Domingo. The Governor launched a raid to recover the ship. The raid was successful and the La Garonne eventually made port in Biloxi. Henri's parents did not make it to La., having either died on the way or having died in Brest. Twelve year old Henri Albert, now orphaned was taken in by survivors and went on to found the Schexnayder line in S. La.

Anna Maria Magdalena Wiche was born on 3 December 1710 in Stebbach, Kreis Heilbronn, Baden-Württemberg, Deutschland. She and Heinrich Albert Schexnaydre were married in 1727 in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana. She died in 1766, at age ~56, in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana.
